Best softphones 2021
We’ve already posted a number of articles comparing Softphone.Pro with softphones from ZoiPer, MicroSIP, Linphone, and Bria. As such, we’ve decided to compile our list of 2021’s best softphone brands so far.
1. Linphone:
A free program with a fairly wide list of functions. It includes audio and video calling, conference functions, file sharing, and instant messaging. Linphone can be used on iOS, Android, Windows, Linux, and MacOS, with easy integration into browsers.
2. MicroSIP:
A free softphone that allows you to make audio and video calls, as well as exchange instant messages. The program also provides an echo cancellation function, and the interface is translated into many languages.
3. Softphone.Pro:
The program has two use cases: Softphone.Pro, and Softphone.Pro Team. Softphone.Pro performs the function of a softphone which provides an opportunity for high-quality call processing. For example, this version of the program includes call recording, automatic answering, conferences of up to six participants, call control, pre-recorded messages during calls, and so on and so forth.
Softphone.Pro Team helps determine the accurate and comprehensive analytics of call center agents’ work. In your personal account, you’ll find reports such as agent workloads, incoming processing qualities, call logs with filters, online monitoring panels, and more. The program has a free trial period. Once completed, usage will cost $1.99 and $3.99 per month per user.
4. Bria:
A softphone offering an extensive list of opportunities for effective communication, both with clients and within the team. The program has a free version, but it’s available only to one user and doesn’t allow for the use of some functions available in paid versions. Bria Solo and Bria Team will cost you $2.95 and $4.95 per month respectively but will give you the ability to use features such as audio and video calling, file exchanging and messaging, call management, exporting contacts from common programs, and call analytics.
Most features are available in Bria Enterprise. The price is announced personally to the buyer by the sales department.
5. ZoiPer:
The program has three options: free (only basic functions), "Premium" (supplemented by integration into CRM, video call, voice mail, etc.) and "On demand" (designed specifically for the client).
The "Premium" mode will cost you €49.95, and the price of the "On Demand" tariff will be based on the full functionality. They’re convenient softphones suitable for businesses of any size. Outwardly similar to Skype, it can also be used for non-commercial personal communication.
We didn’t put the programs in a specific order but rather they’re listed from free to paid. This is our subjective opinion based on personal research.
