Softphone.Pro Cheat Sheet: 15 Keyboard Shortcuts Worth Knowing

Everyone knows Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Alt+Tab, and Ctrl+Alt+Del which refer to copy-paste, switching between windows, and a task manager launch (some may even remember old good times when the last one rebooted a PC).
These key combinations a.k.a. hotkeys/shortcuts make performing routine tasks quicker without using a mouse. It saves time and boosts productivity. You can find them in Windows, macOS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, YouTube, Audacity, Photoshop… and in Softphone.Pro too!
Basic Hotkeys
Use these shortcuts for the following actions:
- Close the application — Ctrl+Q
- Open Settings — Ctrl+S
- Exit Settings — Esc
- Switch to a specific window — Ctrl + Number (window number)
- Switch between windows — Ctrl+Tab / Ctrl+Shift+Tab
Navigation Shortcuts
Call center agents (and anyone who calls a lot!) will be undoubtedly happy to:
- Switch between window elements — Tab / Shift+Tab
- Go to the number input field — Ctrl+J
- Go to the search field — Ctrl+F (in the “Contacts” and “Call Log” windows)
- Confirm selection — Enter
Call and Notification Shortcuts
Some handy combos here as well:
- Select SIP account — Ctrl+K
- Select status (BLF) — Ctrl+L
- Select forwarding number — Ctrl+F
- Configure email notifications — Ctrl+E
