Capsule CRM Integration

Use this manual to configure integration with Capsule CRM in Softphone.Pro. You can obtain customer data from your CRM, and make outbound calls from Capsule CRM via Softphone.Pro.

How to obtain client information from Capsule CRM

1. Open your Capsule account and go to Account Settings page:

2. Open Account and plan page:

3. Copy your Site address (symbols before .capsulecrm.com) from the Site Address field:

4. Open Integration - Capsule settings section:

5. Enter your Site address that you copied during step 3 of this manual:

6. Сlick Enable:

Click Enable

7. Confirm that you entered correct site address and click Continue:

8. Click Allow in the opened window to grant Softphone.Pro app access to your Capsule data:

9. If the correct data is entered, you see a notification on successful integration:

10. Integration status in settings changes to Account enabled. Click Save.

11. You can see an info from Capsule in incoming call pop-up window.

First line is the Contact name, next one is the name of the Company.

Click Contact's name to open related Capsule page.

12. Besides, you can see an info from Capsule in Active Calls window.

First line is the Contact name, next one is the name of the Company.

13. You can also see an info about the Contact from Capsule in the Call Log.

How to make outbound calls from Capsule CRM

Softphone.Pro can make outbound calls using sip:, callto: and tel: links. See this article for more information.

Configure your Capsule CRM to pass phone numbers to Softphone.Pro using this manual. We'll use callto: links as an example.

1. Open your Capsule account and go to Account Settings page:

2. Open Account and plan page:

3. In the People & Organisations section click Add New and select Generated Link option in the dropdown:

4. Fill out custom field parameters:

  • Label - enter any text, for example Softphone.Pro;
  • Link definition - enter callto:{phone} to make the call to the first phone number of the contact, callto:{phone[Mobile]} to call the first mobile number, etc.

Click Save:

5. Open Contact page and click on the added link to make the call with Softphone.Pro:

6. When you click the link for the first time you might see the request to open the links from your CRM in Softphone.Pro. Check Always allow and click Open Softphone.Pro:
