Block spam calls in Softphone.Pro
Softphone.Pro Agents may receive multiple unknown calls they can't answer. They are usually spam calls circumventing PBX system. If you check your PBX or telephony call logs you won't find them.
Softphone.Pro uses SIP account for calls. SIP protocol described in RFC 3261 (request structure, user agent behavior, PBX interaction) allows for sending requests between SIP clients circumventing your telephony/PBX.
Bad actors take advantage of this by sending SIP INVITE request to every device they can. Agents start receiving spam calls which distract them and prevent from processing genuine calls from clients.
Use this manual to block such spam calls in Softphone.Pro.
How to block spam calls in Softphone.Pro
1. Click the icon in the top left corner of the main Softphone.Pro window and select Settings from the dropdown menu (or use the CTRL-S shortcut):

2. Go to SIP settings tab and check Allow incoming calls from registered domains only:

3. Click Save in the lower right corner of the settings window.
From this point Softphone.Pro will only accept calls from your PBX with domain set in SIP account settings. Spam calls will be ignored.
How to block spam calls in Softphone.Pro Team
1. Use Team's softphone provisioning and add the following to Agent's configuration file:
[AppSettings] DenyIncoming=1
Use configuration templates to apply settings to all Agents.
2. Save changes and restart Agents' softphones to apply new settings.
You have successfully configured spam calls block. Softphone.Pro will ignore calls not originating from your PBX/telephony. Spam calls will no longer appear in the app and Team Dashboard.
