Welcome Softphone.Pro 5.6

Summer and the new softphone are coming, so put aside all things in favor of the 5.6 version — the latest release, fresh from the oven!

By the way, we’ve found something interesting: in every previous release there was a top zest: e.g. 5.2 delivered stereo record mode, 5.3 boasted SMS and texting, 5.5 came with long-awaited USB HID support.

5.6 stands out somewhat from this series as it introduces several equally attractive features at once… It’s hard to choose a winner! We’re tempted to highlight them all, look:

Softphone as a control tool: record outbound calls starting from the rings;
Smooth workflow: set a timeout for auto answer;
Legal impeccability: if a client objects, record operator’s channel only;
Inevitable hello: now you can hide “Decline” and “Ignore” buttons in the incoming call notification window;
Time economy: close the softphone and change statuses by command from an external app, whether from a web application, or from a command line — switching between the apps is no longer needed.
