Softphone.Pro 5.11: fast and comfortable
Ladies and gentlemen, we are pleased to present the 5.11 version which brings a set of features aimed at comfort and ergonomics.
More keyboard control
This is a long-awaited development of the hotkeys idea that firstly appeared in the 5.4 release: they let answer, end, or ignore the call. 5.11 brings more: e.g. Ctrl+4 makes the Call Log window active, Ctrl+J shifts the focus to dialpad / number input field, and familiar to all Ctrl+Tab switches the softphone’s windows like it does in case of a browser tabs.
We believe such a feature will appeal to keyboard fans, murophobes, and command line enthusiasts. Though the list can be much longer, everybody uses Alt+Shift, Win+V и Ctrl+W are commonly used, eh? Again, “Win+.” is known to everyone :)
According to our optimistic estimates, it makes controlling twice as fast. What about you?
Better logging
Now one can see the log in whole keeping the app open, no shutdown required. The previous version logged everything too but in the newest one it’s much more convenient. Indeed, Softphone.Pro is designed to make calls and receive them, not miss :)
New default ringtones
Throughout all the Softphone.Pro’s history it was just one sound, now there are three extra added: electric guitar, classical guitar, and piano. We do know that acoustic comfort and variety are both important. Pick any smartphone and you’ll find a dozen ringtones — now Softphone.Pro is trendy too :)
New built-in integration: SuiteCRM 8
The list of supported CRMs expands: we added frequently asked SuiteCRM 8 — the world’s most popular open source CRM, free, reliable, comfortable, multifunctional out-of-the-box, and a multiple winner in Forbes Advisor ratings. The latest 8.8 version offers two-factor authentication, supports Angular 18 and PHP 8.3, and is friends with Softphone.Pro as well.
Friendly integration with Zoho CRM
It became faster and friendlier: now it is not needed to copy a token on the CRM web page and input it in the softphone’s settings, it appears automatically, we’d even say automagically. Less switching, less routine, more comfort.
