The final decision is always up to you, we just summarize. 3CX is very compact on the screen; as for design, unlikely one can call it mainstream. Softphone.Pro with all optional windows takes more display space but allows to disable them; moreover, it has scale options — from 50% to 200%, a very practical and useful feature.

Besides, 3CX is free and Softphone.Pro is as cheap as a cup of coffee once a month and offers many reporting options and much integration opportunities. Good choice for those who can handle finances.
